Ben is the President and Owner of Peak Energy Performance Therapy P.C. Ben attended Colorado State University earning
a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise and Sport Science with a concentration in sports medicine and a minor in coaching.
While at Colorado State, he was involved with collegiate athletics, working as an athletic trainer for all club sports including
baseball, hockey and rugby. In Fort Collins, Ben was an assistant athletic trainer and football coach at Poudre High School.
Additionally, Ben was an assistant coach for the 1999 State Champion Iowa City West High football team.
Upon graduation
from CSU, Ben attended the Master of Physical Therapy program at the University of Iowa. It was here that he focused much
of his attention on the specific training and rehabilitation of athletes.
His clinical experience is concentrated
in the areas of orthopedic and sports physical therapy. In addition to his Masters degree in Physical Therapy, Ben is also
a nationally certified strength and conditioning specialist. He has completed speed and plyometric training at the United
States Olympic Training center in Colorado Springs and baseball specific training with some of the premiere strength coaches
in the major leagues. Ben has helped youth, high school, collegiate and professional athletes recover from injury and
improve their performance on the field.
He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the National
Strength and Conditioning Association. Ben, his wife Sarah, daughter Katelyn and Summit, their golden retriever, live
in Castle Rock, CO.
